Lets just call this a "do-over"

Hello ladies and gents!
It's been a while, eh?
After an interesting week after going through a je ne sais pas, I am back in the game.
Had a lovely run and bike ride today. I was planning on actually doing a tempo run but I decided to nix that idea. After all, I would REALLY like to live through the training.

Goal for the week is going to be just 10 miles this week. A small goal, but one that is better done then not. I'm really hoping to be at a half marathon length by the time of the tri; that way I can possibly register for the Disney marathon the first of next year.

What else? I caved and bought the p90x system. After one session I decided to blow chunks. Yeah... It's going to take some time to build myself back up. It is amazing what a sedentary lifestyle for 9 months can do to you.

SO here's to a start over. Besides, spring break is just around the corner and well, Florida's swimsuit season is already underway. It be a shame for all of *this* to be couped up all summer.

So it begins...

I have officially signed up... No turning back now...
PersonalMilestone
It's funny, I made one of these tickers for the wedding and it was so exciting to watch the little people get closer and closer to the end. However, watching this little person move makes me nervous.

I did go buy new shoes today (woo-hoo) like I really need anymore.. but hey, I need to pull my motivation where I can! Can ya blame a girl?

Lets see, progress for the day:
Diet-..
Training- I did get a light run in. Had a little bit of a head ache (blaming it on the front)
It felt nice to run again. I used to do 25-30 miles a week give or take. Running has always relaxed me and its just an over all stress reducer. I am really anxious to get going seriously.

I did clean up half the condo, though! Does that count? I put my music on and shook it like nobodies bid-ness. Maybe one day you will have the chance to see my mad dance skillz.. I mean come on, cant go wrong with the sprinkler, lawnmower, and occational electric slide. I know, I know, your jealous but hey, we can't all have leet skillz.

I figure each week I can sit and focus on one thing at a time. For example: week one, work on eating a more conducive diet to handle the training demand.

Ok, a little off topic but welcome to my mind on a regular basis.
ANYWAY ( haha I just felt like I was back in middle school and when you passed notes, you would put transitions in like

Sorry!

Till next time!

Procrastinating Sara is procrastinating ...

H'ok.
I was really supposed to start this on Monday, but due to the fact of shear procrastination towards school work, I decided that it is now a better time then any....

Yesterday, I received a email from a bike company I really like called Trek. Every now and again I like to look at all the cool fitness and exercise tips to make me feel better and act like I am actually accomplishing something. HOWEVER, I decided to actually shift through some of the articles and found one for a triathlon in Orlando. If you know me, then you know that a tri is something I have always wanted to try ( bah dun dun). So, I put on my big girl panties and decided that this is going to be the year. After putting on a butt load of weight in the last year, this is great motivation to actually get back into shape ( besides, I now have my mother-in-law kicking my rear end in the fitness department!).

A friend of mine suggested that a blog would keep me honest and a good excuse to show off my mad training skills.

So, I have about 6 1/2 months to get my little tooshy in shape! If you are going to follow this, please, keep me honest, active, and motivated.

If you want to look at the details and live in the Orlando, maybe you could consider joining me!

'till Monday!
